Opening of the 2014 legislative year
The Office of the National Assembly informes the senators and deputies of the 49th Legislature, that the opening of the legislative year 2014 in National Assembly session will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. Therefore, deputies and senators are asked to scrupulously respect the protocol, particularly attire and arrival time.

Words of sympathy of the DNL

Date for the reopening of classes
Miloody Vincent, Director of Communication of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) announced that the reopening of classes will be officially Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.

Creation of a National Coordination of Sanitation
Donald Parison, the former Director General of the Metropolitan Service of Collection of Solid Waste (SMCRS) announced the creation of a National Coordination of Sanitation. This additional structure to SMCRS, which will be housed in the offices of the Primature, will be responsible for, among other things provide the sector of waste management, a control system and develop strategies to keep the country clean.
