The Exploratory Mission Economic Entrepren'Elles (M3E), wants to encourage the active participation of women in the economic advancement of society. The event "Towards a prosperous women alliance !" (Vers une alliance prospère au féminin !) promotes, in this sense more power to the genre, as an essential tool for the emancipation of the Haitian woman.

While it is true that Haiti is now open for business, it is rare that one focuses on women's entrepreneurship. Yet there are many examples of Haitian women who have had success in the business world in Haiti and abroad.
