iciHaiti - Politics : Meeting around COMTECH Operation
Thursday, Calvin Cadet, Director General of the Ministry of Communication, met with Myrtho René, Director General of the Ministry for Women's Affairs and Women's Rights, for a short working session to establish collaboration between the two ministries.

This working meeting is part of the launch of a major program initiated by the Ministry of Communication: OPERATION COMTECH which aims to accompany Ministries, Secretaries of State and autonomous bodies in their communication plan.

The "COMTECH OPERATION" will be based on the intensive use of digital communication networks to promote exchanges between institutions. To analyze the communication needs of the various public institutions, to overcome the difficulties identified in their way of functioning, to train executives in new information and communication technologies to improve the harmonization and effectiveness of government communication : are among others the objectives of the "COMTECH OPERATION".

Other meetings are foreseen with other entities in the dynamic to achieve a better cohesion in the policy of government communication, in accordance with the framing letter that was submitted to the Minister of Culture and Communication by the Prime Minister Minister Jack Guy Lafontant.
