Haiti - Politics : Denial of the Secretary of State for Public Security

The Office of the Secretary of State for Public Security deplores the spread of false information on the social networks which caused a panic in the downtown area of Port-au-Prince, particularly around the mobile phone company Natcom.
The Bureau calls on citizens to be calm and cautious about the informations spread on the social networks explaining, that it was in really "a response from the police intervening in the attack of a lady by two bandits. One of the two bandits was wounded during the exchange of fire and the other fled. The assaulted woman came out safe and sound from this incident which caused a monster traffic jam," these are the official facts.
