iciHaiti - Politics : New Director General of the National Library

Limond Toussaint, Minister of Culture recently installed Franceline Cadet Robas as new Director General of the National Library of Haiti (BNH).
The Minister, who describes the National Library as the "Cradle of the Literary Heritage of the Haitian Nation", informed the new Director that "the task is immense, as the book as well as the visual arts, dance and music are not only components of culture but also instruments of education."
In addition, Minister Toussaint, on behalf of the Moïse-Lafontant Administration, was convinced that Mrs Robas, who has a professional career in public administration, will be able to continue and intensify the work of her predecessor, Mrs Emelie Prophète, now in charge of the Directorate General of the Haitian Copyright Office (BHDA).
