The General Directorate of the Executive Body of the National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL) informs the public that, on the express instruction of Fritz Caillot, the Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, CONATEL initiated discussions with mobile operators in Haiti on the terms and conditions for granting 4G/LTE concessions.

The deadline for the end of the current fiscal year (September 30, 2017) will be the culmination of this process and the submission of a report to the Government, which will have to negotiate the final terms of the auction, of a objective mounting purified of all country specificities concerning the operating costs and compensations and incentives to grant to the licensing operators of 4G/LTE.
