The Brigade, that will soon celebrate 20 years of uninterrupted mission in Haiti, has during all its years "assisted 174,667 births, with a clear decrease in the number of caesareans. In the 10 departments of the country, more than 600 doctors, nurses and technicians from the Greater Antilles assisted 5.788 births in 2017, ensuring the well-being of mothers and children," said Lorenzo Mojena.
