iciHaiti - Léogâne : Tourist destination of Rara 2018
The Deputy Jean Wilson Hippolite and Mayor Mauclair Désir of Léogâne invite Haitians from all over the world to come and take part, during Easter and for three days, to the Rara festivities in the city of Anacaona to make Léogâne the tourist destination of Rara 2018.

According to the elected officials, "Léogâne is famous for its numerous Rara bands and no other commune an dethrone Léogâne from its leading position". ware of the stakes and strengths of the Rara's musical tradition, the local authorities want to make Rara of Léogâne a pole of tourist attraction and a great economic opportunity. To this end, they plan the event to allow local and international visitors and léogânais to dance the Rara in peace in an exceptional cultural atmosphere, said the Deputy Hyppolite.
