During a ceremony, the Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) Jean Baden Dubois, deliver a short speech that we invite you to share : Speech of the Governor of the BRH : "Today is an important step that is taken after 7 years of collaboration between Natcom and the Haitian state. Because this company which the State owns 40% makes for the first time its declaration of dividend to the Haitian State, through the BRH, of which I have the honor of chairing the Board of Directors. Ladies and gentlemen Allow me to salute the work done by the entire Natcom team who has, with dynamism and professionalism, made the institution what it is today in the mobile phone market. I would like to thank the Board of Directors of Natcom represented by Viettel and BRH who worked on the implementation of strategic policies to improve the quality of services offered to the population and also presented plans interesting for all pockets. Working in the common interest, providing a quality service at an accessible price, must be Natcom's credo, and that is why we are seeking the cooperation of everyone to make the Company stronger and more profitable. Natcom also belongs to Haiti! It's a national company. Every Haitian has an interest in taking ownership of this mixed society so that it can pay dividends to the Haitian state and contribute to the increase of tax revenues. Today, Natcom also wants to help equip the country with qualified executives, thus the Board of Directors strongly supported and obtained from Viettel the grant of 30 scholarships for engineering courses to young Haitians who will have the opportunity to specialize in the fields of engineering and technology in Vietnamese International universities. This project, whose the terms will be defined by Viettel and the Haitian State is for us at the Central Bank very important, because these young students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the entrepreneurial culture of Vietnam, a country that is experiencing economic growth more and more sustained. The training of these students in Vietnamese Universities must also promote the Haitian integration on the technical level in the company. I thank you."
