iciHaiti - Culture : Opening of the Port-au-Prince Art Performance Festival 17/05/2018 08:58:29
The opening of the "Laboratory of Thought" will be done at FOKAL May 24 at 4:30 pm with Senegalese Felwine Sarr whose text will be read by the French actress Garance Clavel. Actress Eva Doumbia will also present her reading performance. The presentation of May 25 will take place at the Dufort House from 11:00 am where Felwine Sarr, the writer Lyonel Trouillot and Michèle Duvivier Pierre-Louis, the President of FOKAL will successively present their lab. Poems and texts by Yannick Lahens, James Noel, Lyonel Trouillot, Léonora Miano, Dany Laferrière, Frankétienne and René Depestre will be at the rendezvous. These presentations will be followed by a performance reading by actress Garance Clavel. To close this festival on Saturday, May 26 at the FOKAL, a performance reading will be provided once again by the actress Garance Clavel. Felwine Sarr, for his part, will make the conclusion of the event.
