Thursday back home after attending the 39th Ordinary Meeting of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) in Montego Bay, Jamaica, President Moïse said at a press conference he met on the sidelines of this event the new President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz Canel around the expertise that Cuba will bring to Haiti in hydraulic engineering, recalling "There are 15 Cuban technicians working in the construction of the dam [micro-hydroelectric plant] on the Marion River https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24264-haiti-politic-official-inauguration-of-dam-works-on-the-marion-river.html I asked the Cuban President to send 30 more engineers to help us build several more dams in the country."
