iciHaiti - Back to School : Messages of the PNH to the students
As part of the school year Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) delivered a message to students.

"Another school year has begun and I ask students not to be swayed by people with bad intentions. Your books should be your best weapon because your future depends on it.

Do not do anything wrong such as smoking, drinking, missing school days for no good reason to please your friends, so that they find you 'nice'.

If today you do not give importance to your studies, tomorrow you will pay the consequences.

Many people think that if your parents do not have a fortune or considerable material assets or if you live in a disadvantaged neighborhood, you are doomed to fail automatically.

On the contrary, I tell you, from today you have to work harder to show society that what they think of you is wrong. Stay positive, make your books your compass.

I wish you all a happy new school year 2018-2019 in peace and discipline, stay tuned to your parents and respect your teachers."
