iciHaiti - Social : The law on accessibility standards, published in the official journal
The Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) informs us that the law on the accessibility standards of the built environment has been published in the official journal "Le Moniteur" special number 16.

The purpose of this new law is to establish standards for the accessibility of the built environment, including collective and individual residential buildings for rental, public buildings and public spaces. In accordance with the provisions of the Act of 13 March 2012, the document defines the accessibility-related technical features to ensure the design, layout and management of a built environment that takes into account the needs and abilities of all users.

The BSEIPH salutes the dedication of President Jovenel Moïse and thanks parliamentarians who by their vote https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24992-haiti-politic-weekly-balance-of-parliamentary-activities.html https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23998-haiti-news-zapping.html , contributing to the construction of an environment where every citizen will finally be able to move independently and safely, whether disabled or not. At the same time, the Office of the Secretary of State invites all components of national life to work for the respect of these new norms for an inclusive and just society.
