iciHaiti - Digicel Foundation : A Christmas of sharing
The Digicel Foundation throughout this month carried out a series of activities as part of its Christmas campaign, launched on December 6, to distribute gifts in different schools across the country's 10 departments.

Once again, the spirit of sharing was there. This year, during the Christmas fair which was organized for the employees, the latter had the opportunity to contribute to a collection of more than 4,000 gifts which were distributed to the students of 10 of the schools built by the Foundation in remote areas such as : in Trou-du-Nord in the North-East department, in Bainet in the South-East and in Jérémie in the Grand'Anse, but also in the metropolitan region at the School Bon Samaritain in Croix-des-Bouquets.

Also as part of this campaign, the Digicel Foundation paid particular attention to the Bernard Mevs Hospital, which for the past few months has been facing serious financial concerns. In order to show their solidarity, a fundraising campaign is carried out with the employees and each donation received will be doubled by the Foundation.

"May this solidarity and this spirit of sharing that have always characterized the Haitian people be able to accompany us throughout this holiday period. The Digicel Foundation, as always, reaffirms its willingness to support communities across the country and hopes that each gift given will bring joy, hope to each child. Happy New Year celebrations to all," said Sophia Stransky, Executive Director of the Digicel Foundation.
