iciHaiti - Education : Monitoring of the financing of projects by the Global Partnership for Education
As part of the implementation of projects in support of the education sector in connection with the Global Partnership for Education (SME) the Committee for the evaluation of files submitted by international organizations with a view to recruiting the agent-partner for fund management. started work this week.

After presenting the assessment tools and the members of the Committee : Délima Pierre the Director General of the National Office for Partnership in Education (ONAPE) thanked the various members of the Committee : Denès Metellus, Pole Coordinator of the Directorate General, Inspector General Gustave Joseph interface between the GPE Global Partnership for Education and the Ministry, Jackson Pléteau, the Director of Cabinet of Minister Cadet and two representatives of ONAPE, Mesdames Gardith Jeanniton and Sherley Dominique.

Note that this recruitment is part of the requirements of the SME for the follow-up of the accelerated financing and the fiduciary management of the funds which will be allocated to Haiti by the SME, in particular for the implementation the Ministry's priority action program for the continuation of school activities.

The results of the evaluation work should be known shortly, in order to rapidly advance in the next stages of recruitment of the partner agent.

According to the information obtained, three organizations have submitted their offers : the World Bank, the NGO Care and UNICEF.
