iciHaiti - Covid-19 : Dressmaking policemen make masks for the PNH
Commissioner Michel-Ange Louis-Jeune, Spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) said that at the initiative of the high command of the police institution, a mask production workshop had been set up to protect employees (police and administrative staff) against the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus "[...] dressmaking police officers have been making protective masks since Tuesday. They can produce no less than 500 masks per day. This will allow the police, wherever they are posted, to have protective masks. We take this opportunity to call the police to vigilance. They have to protect themselves in order to protect the citizens."

Adding that in the future, this workshop could be useful in the context of the making of the administrative police uniform, according to the wish of the Director General a.i Rameau Normil.

In addition to these masks, prevention materials (chlorinated water, containers, handwashing soaps) have been made available at police stations and under police stations.
