iciHaiti -NOTICE : Fishing, Hunting and catches prohibited
The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of the Environment remind the general public and merchants in particular that, in the interests of protecting certain marine species, in particular the lobster fishery will be closed from April 1 on September 30, 2020, according to article 111 of the Decree regulating the Exercise of Fishing Rights in Haiti (Monitors #81 and 83, Monday November 20 and 27, 1978).

They also take the opportunity to remind them that, according to the provisions of article 112 of the same Decree, the sale, in all seasons, of lobster, laden with eggs or in the process of moulting, the eggs of which have been removed voluntarily.

In addition, they remind the general public and hunters in particular that, in order to protect certain species of wildlife, hunting migratory ducks, native ducks, ducks, teals is prohibited from April 1 to September 30 2020 and that of guinea fowl from May 1 to October 31, 2020.

They also take the opportunity to remind them that, according to the provisions of article 18 of the Decree of March 13, 1971 organizing hunting surveillance and police, it is formally prohibited to kill, pursue and capture egrets, spatulas, flamingos, malfiis, grigris, vultures, tacots, cuckoos, fressais and "caleçons rouges".
