iciHaiti - Covid-19 : Curfew, «Vigilance» operation
As part of the "Vigilance" operation, Audain Fils Bernadel, the Minister of the Interior, accompanied by various Units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), continued this week his inspection tour of the streets of the capital to dissuade recalcitrants and compel unbelievers to comply with the curfew in the fight against the spread of the pandemic.

To these provisions is added the inspection, before the start of the curfew, of a certain number of night clubs, bars and restaurants to ensure that they take into account the health standards in force, in particular the distancing between consumers. Owners of establishments and animators of other attractions or neighborhoods parties evolving outside the rules, in particular with more than 10 people concentrated in the same place received warnings. In addition, other locations that were obviously too full were forced to empty their customers or close their doors.

Minister Bernadel recalls that the objective of these operations is to help the population to better protect themselves from the Covid-19 coronavirus and launched an appeal for collaboration, convinced that compliance with health measures and curfew in particular will allow prevent unnecessary and regrettable clashes with law enforcement officials.
