iciHaiti - PNH : Fight against banditry, July report
During a press briefing on Wednesday, the divisional inspector, Gary Desrosiers, deputy spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) presented a report on the fight against banditry for the month of July. In summary, during this period, 14 firearms, nearly 300 ammunition and 6 vehicles were seized as part of operations carried out by the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) in conjunction with the Departmental Directorate of West of the PNH. 5 suspected bandits were also aarrested by the police in an exchange of fire.

Thanks to the interventions of the agents of the Brigade de Lutte contre le Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs (BLTS) 14 kg of marijuana were seized and 5 Jamaicans were arrested accused, among other things, of drug trafficking, criminal associations, irregular migration situation... They had in their possession weapons, ammunition of different calibers, 2 navigation devices, 8 cell phones and more than 44,000 US dollars...

Also in Kenscoff, a PNH patrol arrested the brothers Dady and Jean Marc Norzeus who had in their possession a 380 caliber pistol and were preparing to execute an owner of a shop in the area, specified Gary Desrosiers.
