iciHaiti - Phantom 509 : The FAES condemns the attack on its premises

In a note, the General Directorate of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) condemns with the utmost rigor the acts of violence perpetrated at the premises of the Institution in the afternoon of Wednesday September 16 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-31820-haiti-flash-new-violent-actions-of-the-phatom-509-group-in-the-capital.html
Hooded and heavily armed individuals set fire to several vehicles that were parked in the yard before invading FAES premises, intimidating employees with their weapons, ransacking several offices, causing extensive damage before attempting to set them on fire.
The General Directorate of FAES denounces "these barbaric, illegal and inadmissible acts which do not fit with democracy. This situation must challenge all those who dream of a Haiti where it is good to live, of a safe, stable and prosperous country."
The Directyorate wishes to encourage all the executives and employees of the said Institution to keep their calm and serenity at this difficult time.
