Projects of Mexican businessmen in Haiti
After the visit of a delegation of Mexican entrepreneurs, who accompanied the President of Mexico Felipe Calderon 3 Mexican companies are considering to install their business in Haiti, accoring to Sophia Désir of the mbassy of Haiti in Mexico. Septi-K a company specializing in septic tank wants to install a production plan of septic tank and green plastic tanks for various uses, and a second company, Royal Technologies, wants to install in Haiti a distribution center of panels prefabricated in Mexico, for the Haitian and Caribbean market, and finally, the company Tecnologia GMI plans to produce in Haiti materials needed to build clinics and hospitals.

35% of adults in the camps suffer from stress
A study entitled "Evaluation of humanitarian assistance in Haiti in terms of resilience" conducted by the Haitian Government, State University and Tulane University (USA) and cited by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA ), indicates that 35% of Haitian adults living in IDP camps suffer from psychological stress. OCHA says that the poor living conditions in camps "have facilitated the deterioration of the psychosocial health of people [...]"

Training at Scrabble
Monique Calixte Library (BMC), begins this Saturday, May 5, training at Scrabble for library users. This initiative aims to foster the development of this game that is expanding the vocabulary and stimulates thinking skills and decision making. The training that will take place at the Fokal, should allow the creation of a scrabble club at the BMC. The training workshop will be held Saturday May 5 and 12 for two sessions of two hours by Saturday. The first session will target younger (10-15 years), the second to the oldest (16-22 years). This training will be closed Saturday, May 19th with a tournament between the participants, that will be followed by an exhibition match between two professional of Scrabble.

XIII international Ferretera Asodefe Expo 2012
A delegation of the Association of hardware stores from the Dominican Republic will travel this weekend to Port-au-Prince, for a meeting with officials and representatives of construction companies in Haiti to promote their participation in the "XIII International Ferretera Asodefe Expo 2012" to be held in Santo Domingo from June 7 to 10, 2012.
