Renewal of non-immigrant visas, schedule change

The Embassy of the United States announces a change in the schedule for the new renewal program of non-immigrant visas from December 18, 2013. The U.S. Embassy announces that as of December 18, 2013,it will receive applications for the visa renewal program will be accepted on Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Remember that this program is only open to applicants who had obtained their visas at the Embassy of the United States of Port-au-Prince. Applicants will have to personally present at the entrance of the Consular Section of the Embassy at the times indicated. The Embassy advises applicants to speak only to employees of the Consular Section with a badge of the Embassy and immediately report to security officers in uniform, any suspect any inappropriate contact with other people.

Public Finance Reform

The Ministry of Economy and Finance organizes three days of reflection on the strategy to reform public finance, 17 to 19 December 2013. These days, coordinated by the Commission of Public Finance Reform and Economic Governance, will allow senior managers in public administration and other experts, to perform a series of discussions on the draft strategic document of public finance reform. Convening of the National Assembly
