SME Support Programme of University Graduates
This Wednesday the Ministry of Commerce and Industry proceededto the launch of its SME Support Programme of University Graduates (PAPMEU), a program to provide technical and financial guidance to young university graduates to enable them to achieve their business projects.

Tuesday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, had a meeting with Michaëlle Jean, the UNESCO Special Envoy and Monique Rosann, the Director of the Institute for the Protection of National Heritage (ISPAN), around the possibility of a partnership of training South-South, in which some master weavers could come from Senegal to train young Haitians and teach them the art of weaving.

Success of the first International Book Fair of Haiti
The National Directorate of Books would like to thank all publishers, readers, booksellers, printers and writers who, at one level or another, worked for the full success of the first edition of the International Book Fair of Haiti (Filha ) held from 12 to 15 December at the municipal Palace of Delmas. For four days, thousands of visitors came, more than fifty writers were signed including a dozen foreigners. Fifteen publishers exhibited their books and have sold more than 1.6 million Gourdes.

Alan Cave, the lead vocal of the group ZIN, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Tourism who took the opportunity to explore the possibilities of using the artist as a tool to promote tourism through its concerts. Note that Alan will perform in Haiti for the holidays December 19, (Insane Unplugged 2, La Réserve) and December 27, 2013 (Zin/Nu Look, au Parc Canne à Sucre).
