Meeting between the Ministry of Education and 600 inspectors

Monday, December 31, the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) will hold a meeting at the extraordinary with over 600 inspectors from 10 Departmental Directorates of Education (DDE). This meeting will focus on the changes taking place in the modernization of the inspectorate, which must be able to contribute to the reform of the education system in Haiti.

"Maskarade of the sea"

Monday, December 26, Josette Darguste, the Acting Minister of Culture met the associated of "FAM Groupe Consultatif" around a cultural animation project in Pestel (district of Corail, department of Grande Anse).Thursday, February 27, as part of a public-private partnership, a nocturnal activity pre-carnival "Maskarade of the sea" will be performed during which, masked groups will parade to the sound of music, onboard mall boats decorated for the occasion, between 8:00 and midnight.

National System of Development and Statistics

The Ministry of Economy and Finance, represented by Edgard Rosemond of the Cabinet of Minister Wilson Laleau and the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) met with a mission of "Paris 21" around the preparation of the launch on January 24, 2014, of the workshop on the National System of Development and Statistics (SNDS) which will strengthen the Haitian system of statistics.
