Tourism Development Projects and perspectives

Earlier this week, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, had a working session with Ms. Dithny Joan Raton, the Director of the Regional Office Travel South East and the Directorate of the Unit of Studies and Planning of the Ministry of Tourism headed by Andy Durosier around development projects underway and those of the fiscal year 2013-2014. The preliminary draft of the Interpretation Centre of Carnival Jacmel financed by the Haitian State, UNESCO and the Spanish Cooperation has also been addressed.

Strengthening of police officer, promises kept

Wednesday Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe announced as part of ollow-up of Special Plans and commitments made that "As promised by the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti, 10 police officers are en route to La Tortue where they are now allocated. 20 new UDMO agents also arrive in Port-de-Paix. 10 more police officers for the Ile à-Vache and thirty in Grand Anse."

President Martelly visit the North Industrial Park

Wednesday, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the School S & H https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10811-haiti-education-president-martelly-inaugurates-the-school-s-h-in-the-village-ekam-caracol.html President Martelly, accompanied by Bernard Schettini, the Director of the National Society of Industrial Parks (SONAPI) visited the work of Caracol Industrial Park, as well as the electrification projects of the village.

Exhibition Women Painters in MUPANAH

From March 29 to April 22, 2014, visit at the Museum of Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH) the exhibition "Women Painters of the Workshop Tête de l'eau" and discover the contributions of artists such as : Tamara Baussan, Andrée Naudé, Michèle Manuel and Marie José-Nadal in the evolution of modern painting in Haiti.
