Demonstration «electric» in Petit-Goâve

"Haiti 2014 Impressions of Africa"

From 28 March to 13 April, the National School of Arts (ENARTS) welcomes in Port-au-Prince the workshop "Haiti 2014 Impressions of Africa", organized by the painting department of the National School of Visual Arts "La Cambre" of Belgium, in partnership with ENARTS. The workshop was concluded with a group exhibition of work in Haiti and the publication of a newspaper in Belgium. The purpose of this trip is to build lasting relationships between the various partners, to discuss the Haitian and Belgian artistic practices and open horizons through joint projects. The human enrichment that result from these meetings is the main objective.

Actor Jimmy Jean Louis in Haiti

Tuesday, Jimmy Jean Louis, the Hollywood actor of Haitian descent arrived in the country for a short stay. He was warmly welcomed at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport, by Pierre-Louis Richard, Director of Communication of the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) and airport employees.

Workshop for the Revival of Sector Coffee in Haiti

The Ministry of Agriculture and the National Institute of Coffee of Haiti (INCAH) organizes from 10 to 11 April 2014 at the Karibe Convention Center "The Workshop for the Revival of Sector Coffee in Haiti". This workshop where all epresentatives of major stakeholders are invited, will validate the state of the industry and identify prospects for the next 10 years.
