Elections on the agenda of the 22nd Council of Government

Wednesday at the Primature, as part of its policy that aims transparency and accountability, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, will preside the22nd Council of Government. During the Council, the new national budget, which takes into account the fight of the Government against extreme poverty and social exclusion will be presented to the public. This is also an opportunity for the Government to review the various measures adopted for the upcoming elections in accordance with the El Rancho agreement.

Meetings of Directors and Heads of Service of the Ministry of Tourism

Monday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries has met all Directors and Heads of Service of the Ministry of Tourism for the monitoring of office and exchange of information for each department. This meeting is intended weekly.

6th Forum of Ministers of Culture

Monique Rocourt, , the new Minister of Culture held a preparatory meeting for the 6th Forum of Ministers of Culture of the Organization of American States (OAS), which this year will be held on 12 and 13 August 2014 in Port-au-Prince. Took part in this meeting, representatives of the National Palace, of the Ministries of Tourism and Foreign Affairs, Public Security, the PNH and the delegation of the West.
