Closing days at Consulates...
The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Miami, Orlando and Montreal inform the Haitian community that the Consulate will be closed on Thursday 1st May 2014 due to "Labor Day and Agriculture" in Haiti. Offices will reopen in regular hours Friday.

Decrease by more than 40% of malaria cases in Haiti
According to recent statistics, in Haiti, confirmed cases of malaria by laboratory tests fell by over 40% in recent years, from 37.207 to 20.955 cases.

The minister of Tourism at CHRIS

Social Assistance in Île-à-Vache

Tetanus success of the vaccination campaign
The first round of 2014 Maternal and Neonatal tetanus (MNT) vaccination campaign was concluded with excellent results! In some regions, such as the North, vaccination coverage reached 97%. The second round will take place in May (11-17).
