Dany Laferrière attacked on the street Capois

Thursday, Academician Dany Laferrière was attacked on Capois street by unidentified individuals who stole his "Ipad" containing important documents. Dany asks thieves to send him, either by radio station or any other means, the documents contained in the tablet but keep it, noting that these documents are more important to him than his iPad.

REMINDER: Great comedy show

Saturday, May 10 at 8:00 p.m. at Karibe Convention Center, will be held a reat comedy show "HaHaHaïti" with Haitian comedians Jacques Junior Bourjolly aka KAKO, Cyntia Jean-Louis, Christina Guérin, Jude Carrière Junior aka Jorj Wap Kon'n and Jean Samuel André and two humorists from Montreal Louis Tremblay aka Louis T and Mehdi Bousaidan. The funds raised for this show will be used to create the Haitian National School of humor, sponsored by the writer Dany Laferrière. The names of four Haitian humorists who will participate in "Just for Laughs", July 15, 2014, Montreal (Quebec, Canada) will be unveiled at the show.

Friendly Match football Haiti-Europe

As part of the Europe Day and the 25th anniversary of cooperation between Haiti and the European Union, to celebrate their friendship and solidarity, Haitian authorities and members of the EU Delegation and Embassies of the Member States, will compete during a friendly football match this Saturday, May 10 from 4 p.m. at Circle Bellevue, Rue Marcadieu 1 Bourdon.

Creation of a Scrabble Federation

Tuesday, after 4 years of Scrabble practice in Haiti, those responsible of 9 clubs : Top Scrabble (Carrefour), À la lettre (Cap-Haïtien), Chronomot (Bois-Verna), Club de Scrabble (Pétion-Ville), A à Z (Clercine), Mots d’ailes (Carrefour), Club de Scrabble (Duvivier), Anagramme et Mots croisés (Carrefour-Feuilles) created the Haitian Federation of Scrabble (FHS), an essential tool for the academic training of young Haitians.
