CEP: Confusion within the CSPJ

Wednesday members of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) decided at a meeting, to proceed with the replacement of Marie Carole Floréal Duclervil in the Electoral Council. However, Me Anel Alexis Joseph, President of the CSPJ, have prepared a record to unilaterally cancel this decision.

Launch of 7 Community Resource Centres

This Friday will take place the official launch ceremony of 7 Community Resource Centres. This project, funded by the Haiti Reconstruction Fund (HRF), implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), falls within the framework of the implementation of the third component of the program to support the Reconstruction of Housing and Neighbourhoods (PARLOQ), for the establishment of Centres of Municipal and Community support. Strategically implemented across 11 communes most affected by the January 2010 earthquake [in 4 departments]. These 7 new centers will add to the 4 already in operation.
