Monday, during the television show "Tendances" on Télé Signal, François Guillaume II the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) announced that the identification project of Haitian will be launched shortly in the Dominican Republic, specifically in Baharona in the Bateys "This program will affect the entire Dominican Republic and Suriname and the Bahamas, two other communities where Haitians have no identification document."
