FLASH : World Music Day
This Saturday, the Ministry of Culture and the French Institute of Haiti invite the public to celebrate the World Music Day (Fête de la Musique) to be held at Champ de Mars, from 7:00 pm. The famous Nigerian drummer Tony Allen will be the guest of honor of this evening and will be accompanied by Erol Josué, Voodoo internationally renowned singer, Jean jean Roosevelt and many other Haitian artists and groups.

The SEMANAH has big projects
Friday, Erick Prévost, the Director General of the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH) informed a set of projects that he expects to achieve during the next two years, referring in particular the construction of new premises of the institution and a marine biology laboratory. 2 billion gourdes will be required for the completion of all its projects.

Success of a Quebec trade mission to Haiti
A delegation led by the Consul General of Haiti in Montreal, Justin Viard, composed of nine investors, Quebecois and Haitians, visited Haiti recently. During the stay of the trade mission in Port-au-Prince, several working meetings were held between investors and officials of the Haitian Government.
