Haiti has not ratified the Convention on Statelessness

As part of the celebration of World Refugee Day The Office of the High Commissioner of the United Nations for Refugees (UNHCR) held Friday, June 20, 2014 a training seminar on "Refugee Law" In his remarks of circumstances, Rose Anne Auguste Minister spoke of the need for Haiti to ratify the Convention on Statelessness, which according to her, is not unrelated to the Status of Refugees. A convention to regulate the status of stateless persons and to ensure them the enjoyment of their human rights.
