Haiti - News : Some news here and there...
On Tuesday, President Michel Martelly flew to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to defend the interests of Haiti at a tripartite meeting with Dominican President, Danilo Medina and the European Council Herman Van Rompuy. The Head of State will return the same day in Haiti, in the late afternoon.
Note that the President Martelly is accompanied by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe.
The Minister of Tourism meets the OAS
Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin on Monday met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin, on the investment forum which will take place in Haiti soon. The Minister also took the opportunity to talk about the final touches made to the project of tourism development of "Destination Côtes-de-Fer"

Sunday at the Hotel Karibe of Petionville, 63 new professionals of the hospitality industry, after 2 years of training, received during a ceremony, their parchment in disciplines such as: Cuisine and Pastry, Bar and Restaurant and Accommodation in the presence of various personalities in the tourism sector including Maryse Noel the Director General of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries.
