Haitian-Mexican cooperation

On Thursday, the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) had a working meeting around the management of 14 municipal markets built from the resources of the Mexican cooperation

Summer camps for disadvantaged and disabled children

From August 1 to September 6, a summer camp was organized in Petion-ville by the Organization of Children Deprived and Disabled of Haiti (OEDHH). Participants aged between 4 and 18 have, for a month, learned to produce works of art (handbags and belts) from recycled plastic and Creole jewelry. They also dance and poetry.

Forum on penal government policy

From September 18 to 21 at Club Indigo, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security organizes a "Forum on penal policy of the government" that will bring together all the Commissioners of the Government of the Republic, the Deans, Chairs of various courts and tribunals and the highest authorities of the three branches of government. This is an opportunity to take stock of the Haitian penal justice and to set new perspectives. The Ministry of Justice intends to use a participatory approach, defining the guidelines of the penal policy of the Government on the eve of the reopening of the judicial year.

Bar and restaurant of application to IFORTH

Tuesday Karine Condé, the Departmental Director South of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC), accompanied by Damien Meaney of "Soul of Haiti", Sandra Célicien, Trainer in art culinary-hospitality-management, visited the place where will be installed the bar and restaurant of application for students of the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Training (IFORHT). This visit was an opportunity to work on the different locations of equipment that will be housed in this space. Work will begin in the month of September.
