Implementation of the Information System of the visitors

Patrick Calvaire, the Manager of the Unit of Statistics of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC), provided training on 10 and 11 September to the different agents of Kiosks on the establishment of a "Statistical Information System" on visitors who arrive in the North Destination. This session will allow agents to collect data and ask for information on the types and sources of tourists.

Postponement of the 4th Binational high level meeting

The Office of Communication of the Primature informs us that the 4th high-level meeting of the Binational Dialogue, originally scheduled Monday, Sept. 15, in Petion-Ville, under the presidency of Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, and of the Dominican Minister of the Presidency, Gustavo Montalvo, was postponed to a later date.

Towards new departments and Chefs lieux

Phone Number Portability

Jean Marie Guillaume, Director of Conatel, announced for January 2015, the phone number portability, which will allow to switch operators while retaining his phone number, users will be able contact their new operator, who will provide them with their "relevé d'identité opérateur" (RIO) the time for number porting will be about 4 hours.
