Date of beginning of the negotiations submitted to the opposition

Lucien Jura, the spokesman of the Presidency announced that a date for the beginning of negotiations was submitted to the consideration of leaders of political parties and opposition senators. The Minister for Relations with Parliament and of strengthening of political parties is involved in the choice of a place and the development of a consensual agenda.

Program for Sustainable Coastal Development

Tuesday, as part of a mission of analysis of the program of sustainable coastal development (from September 15 to 23) a meeting was held between in particular the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Ministry of Tourism and Industries creative. It was question of the reorganization of the funds and investment of $ 36 million from the IDB in the eastern zone of Côtes-de-Fer and that of 3 million to the very heart of Côtes-de-fer by the Haitian government.

Forum on the penal government policy

From 18 to 21 September, the Ministry of Justice organized the "Forum on penal policy of the government." Urban development of Canaan, Jerusalem and Onaville

On Tuesday, a MoU was signed between the Unit for Housing Construction and Public Buildings (UCLBP) and the program "Konesans e Konpetans Teknik (KONEKTE)". The agreement aims to make available the UCLBP a technical assistance of Haitian experts as part of the forthcoming implementation of the action plan to support urban development in Canaan, Jerusalem and Onaville. Note that the KONEKTE program is funded by the United States Government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The Movie «J-12» won an Oscar

Saturday 13, "J-12", a short film produced and directed by Perri Pierre won the Oscar African in category "Favorite Short Film" at the 4th edition of the NAFCA (Nollywood & African Film Critics' Award) in Beverly Hills. Perri P. was present to receive the award.
