Ulrick Chérubin, Mayor of Amos passed away

Thursday morning, the Mayor of Amos (Quebec), Ulrick Cherub, of Haitian descent, died suddenly at his residence. A native of Haiti (Jacmel 24-12-1943) he was mayor since 2002 and had become known in Quebec through its participation in the program "The Banker" where he raised money ($ 220,000) for the 100th anniversary of his city.

Towards better prices with Air France

St. Lucia, Dominica and Haiti make up the RESICAF

The recent regional meeting of the Caribbean held in Haiti between the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) and its three member states: St. Lucia, Dominica and Haiti, which was held in Port-au-Prince (Haiti), resulted in the formation of the Institutions Network of the Francophone Caribbean (RESICAF). This fifth regional network after those of West Africa, Central Africa and Indian Ocean, Central and Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific, is a platform for consultation, dialogue, exchange, strength, proposals and advocacy for the three member countries.
