Launch of special services for renewal of car insurance

Dunel Laurent, Director General of the Office of Vehicle Insurance Against Third Party (OAVCT) announced the launch of special services for insurance renewal by the end of October to encourage vehicle owners to obtain insurance, noting that about 36,500 vehicles on near 250,000 are registered in the register of the state insurance company.

Review of portfolios of IDB and WB projects

On Monday, the Government, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank (MB) will begin a joint review of portfolios of projects funded in Haiti. More than one hundred representatives of such entities and development partners will meet from Monday 29 September to Wednesday 1 October 2014, during Plenary Assemblies and sectoral working groups. This joint review of the project portfolio, which is a first in Haiti, aims to strengthen coordination between government partners and facilitate the alignment of their activities according to the priorities of the Haitian Government.

Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Jean Dierry talented boxer, Canadian of Haitian origin (born in Haiti April 20, 1982) took the win in the 5th round, in the semifinals of the gala L'Aube Rouge, against the Mexican Daniel Ruiz.

« Impact social » Award for KANPE foundation

On Friday, as part of the Montreal International Black Film Festival (MIBFF) Régine Chassagne and Dominique Anglade received the award "Impact social" for their KANPE foundation that helps hundreds of families in Haiti, and helped 331 families in Haiti to become financially independent and continue to live in dignity. In the medium and long term KANPE plans to help another cohort of over 300 Haitian families.
