3rd Edition Haiti Fashion Week

The third edition of the Haiti Fashion Week will be held from October 30 to November 2. This Thursday, October 30, at the Gala Dinner at the Karibe hotel will take place the traditional parade Extravaganza, where 40 fFashion designers will participate. The evening will also be marked by the presentation of Afro-K adward and a dinner show hosted by a Mexican mariachi orchestra.

Signing of the construction contract for 3 public buildings

Wednesday took place the signing of the contract for construction of the administrative complex of three buildings [Ministry of Economy and Finances (MEF), the General Administration of Customs (GAC) and the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI)] between the Unit for Housing Construction and public Buildings (UCLBP) and the firm Hongyuan Construction Company Limited.

Mirlande Manigat criticizes the justice

Tuesday, on the sidelines of a seminar organized by IDEA, Mirlande Manigat, the General Secretary of the Rally of Progressive National Democrats (BDR) has strongly criticized the administration of justice, "The Haitian justice is sick. The country is sick. The arrest of Rony Timothée and of Biron Odigé, two political activists of the opposition well known, further illustrates the minimum functioning of our justice. The treatment of those activists is unacceptable," adding that the RDNP is preparing to react as a member of the Patriotic Movement of Democratic Opposition (MOPOD).

New coordinator of the e-governance unit of the Primature

The Office of Communication of the Primature informs that the Citizen Erick P. Larsen was appointed coordinator of the e-governance unit of the Primature. He succeeds in this position to, Jean Marie Altéma. This appointment aims to integrate at maximum, the technological tools in public governance and for the State modernization.
