Carnival, balance sheet 3rd Sunday

Sunday in Port-au-Prince for the third day of pre-carnival festivities, Inspector Garry Desrosiers, spokesman of the National Police of Haiti, has taken stock of that day: thirty injured and 8 people arrested including a policeman.

Conference debate on the problem of drinking water in Haiti

Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 5:00 pm, the National Directorate of drinking water (DINEPA) and FOKAL invite you to a conference debate on drinking water and sanitation problem of Haiti, ongoing projects and achievements of this government agency in the country. This conference will be presented by Lesly Dumont, Head of Strategic orientation Unit and institutional strengthening and Romain Revolus, Program Leader secondary cities at DINEPA. The conference will be followed by an exchange between stakeholders and the public.

The Maison Henri Deschamps and the "Advantages-card"

The Maison Henri Deschamps has joined the partnership for the implementation of the teacher-advantages card. It offers cardholders a 20% discount on all products (books and supplies). It thus becomes the second partner after NATCOM to enroll in this approach to provide benefits and privileges to all teachers, cardholders obtained following the granting of the provisional license to teach (EPP) the license to teach (PE) or the institution Identification Card (CIE).

Grant for income generating activities

Friday a follow-up meeting took place with 15 beneficiaries of the subsidy program for income-generating activities of the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH). Following the activity report presented by the participants, they were informed about the methods to be adopted to grow their small businesses. At the end of the meeting the recipients congratulated the initiative and the BSEIPH organizing team and said they are satisfied to learn how to better manage their resources.
