The state appealed, in the case of the return of Senator Desras

150,000 bamboo seedlings

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is working with its partner: Organization for the Rehabilitation of the Environment (ORE) a local NGO, to establish bamboo nurseries in the town of Port Salut, southern Haiti. These bamboos will protect against soil erosion, especially in gullies and can also stabilize the riverbanks and prevent landslides. 150,000 seedlings ready to be planted are expected from these nurseries in the middle of 2015.

New Director Genral at FAES

Monday, Wilson Laleau the Minister responsible for the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), has proceeded with the installation of Ronsard Saint-Cyr as Director General, replacing Klaus Eberwein which was over 3 years at the head of this institution.
