Valuation of National Historic Park

At the Museum of the Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH), was recently held a meeting on strengthening of Management plan, of Management and History National Park Conservation. The objective of this meeting was to define the development strategies of the National Historical Park, so that this site will become a hub of the Caribbean to attract tourists, academics and researchers.

Football: Haiti-China friendly match

The national football team, the Grenadiers, engaged in the Gold Cup to be held from July 7 to 26, will face on March 27, during their first test match, their counterpart from China. Recall that in 2003 in Fort Lauderdale, the Grenadier had defeated China [4-3]. The Grenadiers could also face Malaysia on August 31, but this meeting has not yet been confirmed.

Daniel Supplice visited the GAAR

Thursday, Daniel Supplice, the new Ambassador of Haiti to the Dominican Republic, visited the Support Group for Returnees and Refugees (GAAR), with officials, he said he was aware of the new turn of relations between the two countries. While acknowledging that will face the new Ambassador, GARR welcome favorably its approach, consisting to consult with organizations of Haitian civil society, in order to provide a coordinated response.

A group of American students visits the Destination North

The agents of Kiosk-Info Tourist of Ouanaminthe, received the past weekend, a group of American students who came to experience the North Destination. They came from the neighboring Republic and were warmly welcomed by agents the Tourist info of the Ministry. During their stay, the excursionists visited the National Historic Park, including the Citadelle Henry and tSans Souci Palace. They also enjoyed the Haitian cuisine "Lakou Lakay" of Milot and danced to Lakay Bar Restaurant.

Dinepa: National Sanitation Campaign

The National Directorate of Water Supply and Sanitation (DINEPA) and the Ministry of Public Health, are preparing to launch a national sanitation campaign whose objective is to strengthen the promotion of practices of sanitation and hygiene in order to increase equitable access to proper sanitation for Haitian rural and urban populations.
