On Sunday, Prime Minister, Evans Paul, accompanied by Yves Rose Morquette, Minister for the Status of Women and Women's Rights participated in the official ceremony of the World Women's Day at the Municipal Palace of Delmas and declared "On this World Women's Day, I want to acknowledge the outstanding work being done every day by women. I welcome the perpetual contribution of Haitian women in our economy. On the occasion of March 8, I invite the whole country to say thank you to the women and show their immense recognition they deserve. I want to encourage entrepreneurship in the women sector."
Agriculture: Cooperation Haiti-Taiwan
Friday Fresner Dorcin, Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development has received the visit of a Taiwanese delegation led by Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Haiti, Hwang-Tsai Chiu who was accompanied by first Secretary, Hung-Chi Lu and some representatives of the Taiwanese cooperation in Haiti (ICDF). Together, they discussed the contribution of cooperation at the Ministry of Agriculture and the future direction to provide for proper development of the agricultural sector.
Honor and Merit to the Minister of Health
Sunday, as part of the World Women's Day, Florence D. Guillaume, Minister of Health, received a plate Honor and Merit from the Prime Minister Paul for her dedication and valuable contribution to the health sector in Haiti.

Tourism: Haiti-Brazil Cooperation
On the sidelines of World Tourism Fair "ITB Berlin Convention" in Germany, which ended Sunday Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, met with his Brazilian counterpart, who confirmed his participation in the Summit of Ministers of the Americas to be held in Haiti in May. A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between the two ministers at the event, which will take into account the bilateral agreements on training and institutional support.
