The MOPOD changes its meaning !

The agronomist Jean André Victor and former Deputy Serge Jean Louis, two officials of MOPOD indicated that MOPOD acronym is no longer means "Patriotic Movement for Democratic Opposition," but now "People's Patriotic Movement Dessalinien" while maintaining the same acronym. Furthermore, they indicated that the platform of the radical opposition, will, soon proceed to primary elections to choose its candidates for the upcoming elections.

Inauguration of two infrastructure projects

Thursday morning were launched two projects amounting to 400,000 US dollars, whose objective is to support the Haitian government in building infrastructure. The first project consists in the construction of a new multi-service building, a water tank of more than 7,000 gallons of water, a courtyard and a Basketball court at the Municipal School Pierre Maurice. The second project involves the rehabilitation of 415 meters of roads in Delmas 8. These projects are funded by the section Community Violence Reduction of MINUSTAH (RVC) and executed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Inauguration of the Maternity of the St. Boniface Hospital

New Administrative Director at MJSP
