Dr. Florence Duperval Guillaume, the Minister of Public Health, the Board of Directors and members of the hospital staff also attended the ceremony. This appointment will ensure the proper management of the hospital pending the appointment of an Executive Director.

Dr. Gaétan Garon, specialist in public health and hospital management, has extensive training in organization and management of health services and social services for over 40 years. He not only excelled in his native Quebec, but also in several African countries such as Benin, Morocco, Burundi and Gabon.
