Saturday, the 212th anniversary of the celebration of Our Flag began in Suriname with a great Cultural Festival at the Sports Centre of Kwatta.

This initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Paramaribo, allows members of the local Haitian community to proudly express their many talents: music, dance, culinary arts which are featured in this festival, which commemorates the creation of our bicolor, May 18, 1803, an important date in our history.
