iciHaiti - Tourism : Official opening of the Hotel Marriott

Thursday evening was held the official grand opening of the Marriott Hotel in Port-au-Prince, in the presence of Prime Minister Paul Evans, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, tourist operators, the private sector representatives, members and many personalities have gathered in the cozy Marriott for this official opening evening.
Recall that the Marriott Hotel has mobilized more than 50 million dollars of investment. During its construction it has created 1,000 jobs and works with a staff of 200 permanent employees of which 95% are Haitian staff. The Marriott nwo just rank alongside three other large international chains that have granted their full confidence in the development of a new Haitian hospitality, estimated at 4,322 international standard rooms.
