José Fadul, the Dominican Minister of Interior revealed that on the 288,466 people enrolled in the National Plan of Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE), living in an irregular migratory situation in the Dominican territory, 102,940 have registered with only a birth certificate of their country; 69,997 with D cards; 95,164 with a passport and 20,435 without any documents (official receipt of waiting for an identification document or others...). The biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) of all registrants were recorded in a national database.

Furthermore, the Minister announced that 4,600 immigrants (on the folders already analyzed), who managed to fulfill all the requirements, will receive residence cards.
