iciHaiti - Tourism : The importance of rural tourism in Haiti

Monday, Karine Condé, the Departmental Director South of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC), proceeded in the premises of Aldy Hotel (Aquin), to the launch a 3-day training workshop on rural tourism.
This workshop, an initiative of MTIC, in partnership with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and the Post Graduate College of Mexico aims to train and educate the executives of Ministry of Tourism, of the agriculture and students on the importance of rural tourism in a country like Haiti. It is also an opportunity to involve people in this process and work towards the development of a joint project on rural tourism.
